Eat Real Food!

SC Real Foods (SCRF) is a ministry division of Pee Dee Christian Book & Supply (PDCBS). Operating inside the PDCBS building, SCRF sells nourishing food and related supplies. The SCRF website supports the ministry by making it easy for our customers to browse our products and purchase them using the online shopping cart. All products can then be picked up at our store.

At PDCBS, we know that God seeks to have the Body functioning in wholeness, in the complete victory afforded us by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, healed of emotional wounds and physical diseases. Acknowledging that truth, we at PDCBS put forth the three-fold ministry that God has challenged us with to feed His sheep.

Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 (ESV)

God created us with three distinct parts: mind, body, & spirit. The health and well-being of each of these affects the others; they do not operate independently of each other. In a holistic approach, we address each of these parts in our ministry.

We serve our community through the sale of products that honor the Lord our God, including the Bible, books and materials that are biblically sound, encouraging cards and gifts, and Christian music in many genres. Through this avenue of products, we continue to seek those items that will bring healing, blessing, and discipleship to believers.

We also minister through prayer. Customers are welcome to share needs and ask for prayer or leave prayer requests with our staff. In our praying, we seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit, who brings wisdom, healing, and growth through His work in the life of each person.

Through SC Real Foods we minister to the physical body by making nutritious food available in our store. SCRF also offers practical education and encouragement to those who are new to these foods or bulk purchasing.

We also seek to foster a sense of community and kinship by supporting local organic growers of produce, meat, eggs, & dairy. We understand that supporting as many local food-producers as we can is vital to our sustainability and independence.
